It’s been a pretty bleak weekend. Scott is going through the motions, he is taking all his pills, he is eating, he is watching a little TV, but there is a great tiredness and even worse, immense sadness, in his eyes.
He has slept a lot, he is very pale and only talks when spoken to, and even then his voice is only a whisper. There are no smiles; he doesn’t even make eye contact. He seems lost in his thoughts, a place I really don’t want him to be on his own.

I just wanted to write so you knew I was thinking about you. You are such a special guy! Glory asks me everyday how you are doing and what you are up to. We like to make up stories about all the things you get done in a day. Glory's favorite is that you work on the moon making candy and then you ride home in your space ship for dinner each night. Wouldn't that be a neat job to have? :)
We are getting a package together for you and it should be sent out tomorrow. Would you like a clue about it??? It's something small, that always comes back to you. Hmm...
We hope you got the popcorn for your Birthday last week - Glory was REALLY excited to send that to you because popcorn is a very special treat over here. So when I asked her what we should get you, she screamed out "POPCORN!!!" She is one silly girl.
