As in "no go home" again. Scott's having a tough time getting the last of the chemo cleared from his system. Only went down a small amount according to his last test.
Doc has again up IV fluid rate, and told him this morning it will probably be another night stay. If that's the case, he'll have his leg shots tomorrow before going home, as tomorrow will be clinic day anyway.
He's not a happy guy and is quite bored. He did get up in time to watch "Deadliest Catch" on Discovery. Thankfully he didn't miss his crab fishing show. He's become addictied to the Discovery Channel, which isn't all bad I suppose, he could be watching something worse.
Just wish he was watching Discovery at home. He needs home time, as the next round of this particular chemo treatment starts two weeks from tomorrow.

I can't get to the blog due to the firewall at work so each night I come home, run to the computer to check Scott's status and, this week, hope each day he has been released. I understand the logistics and the medical part, sorta, but my heart aches for all four of you and, of course, most especially Scott. He is showing incredible strength. It is probably a good thing he is a kid; we adults would be the most horrible of patients, I am sure. I am glad he got to talk to the psychologist as well. It sounds like they do absolutely everything they can for the children there at the Center. We should all be grateful he is surrounded by such a caring staff.
Consider this a GREAT BIG HUG!!!

I think Carolyn said it all for us today . It sounds like Scott is getting the best of care. And he is really being a strong young man.Hopefully he will get to go home tomorrow.
