Checked In

We got Scott to the hopsital this morning. He wasn't really happy about going today. Very upset at home before we left, but seemed a bit more at ease after we got there. His blood work was good this morning, and he's already in day hospital to have his bone marrow aspiration and intrathecal chemo. He also starts weekly shots of Asparaginase into his leg muscle mass today. Those continue weekly for the next 19 or 20 weeks.

Today is actually the beginning of the "consolidation" phase of his treatment. Everything to this point was the "induction" phase, which (medically) Scott made it through well.

Just got word that he's awaiting procedure and watching "Deadliest Catch" on Discovery, which he has become a huge fan of the crab fishers on there. More info after he gets done with procedures and put in a room upstairs this afternoon.

can't blame him for not wanting to go in can you. You're all going to have 'can't face it days' but you have to believe it WILL get better.
Have patience with each other on your down days and make the most of the good days.
love to you all
