Quick USCIS update

Just to let folks know, the person we got face-to-face at Immigration thought everything was wrong as well. She even proactively stamped everyone's passport valid as a permanent resident for and additional year, and change the information in the system so we can sort out the wrongly rejected papers.

More later.

Thank goodness there is someone with sense - it makes you so angry that they can play with peoples lives like this - you have enough stress to contend with without all this on top. Thanks for keeping us informed
lots of love as always

So glad you found someone waiting who could see sense and was helpful. Lets hope it can now be resolved quite quickly for permanent residency for good.

It's half term week over here so I'm off to I.O.W tomorrow to stay with Nana for a couple of nights with Harry. I'll obviously get to see your Mum and Eric too. We're taking our bikes over with us - I only hope I can keep up with the speed Harry goes!

Anyway I hope the rest of the week is a good one for Scott and all of you.
Take care,
Love,
Dawn.

I'd say what I thought of USCIS but it wouldn't be PG or even NC 17

I'm happy to hear it went well.

Lots of love to you all

I'm happy to hear that there was a sane person at USCIS that could help you. I hope this will all be behind you soon. What a mess - your family does not need this additional stress and worry. I wish I could give them a piece of my mind for you, they are difficult to deal with. Thinking of you all and sending smiles to Skittles. Angel Laura

Good deal! Glad to hear logic and reason triumphed for once in a government agency. We should all write down this day...it doesn't happen often :)

Hope y'all are doing well and the rest of the week is a good one!
