Diagnosis and treatment
Scott was diagnosed with T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (T-cell A.L.L.) on 01/25/07. T-cell is an aggressive leukemia and Scott is considered a 'high risk' case. His white blood count at diagnosis was 89,000, he had a mediastinal mass and had also developed sudden and severe petechiae due to lack of platelets. There was no CNS involvement.
His chemotherapy treatment began on 1/26/07 and is a 108-week-long protocol of high dose chemotherapy, steroids and cranial radiation.
Scott is treated by Doctor Tebbi at St Joseph's Childrens Hospital in Tampa.

well done Scott -good to have another musician in the family - my dad played the harmonica as well - keep practicing. Oh and not forgetting Lorna on her guitar.

I hope that Scott's counts are good and that he is feeling well! I love the video! Scott is just too cute and very taleneted with the harmonica! Does he play all the time? I am very impressed! :)
Please wish Scott a very happy belated birthday for me! It sounds like it was a great day and some very special people made his day wonderful! :) All of the pictures are great and I really thought it was sweet what you wrote about the card from Derry! :)
I hope both Derry and Scott have a great school year! :) The virtual school that Scott does sounds really neat! I wish I would have known about something like that last year! I dont think they have this in Pasco County!
I wanted to let you know that I am getting your emails and have responded. They are not coming back to me as undeliverable so I am not sure what is going on but it seems that you are not getting them! Hopefully, we will see you guys in the clinic soon! We miss seeing you guys!
